Olivia Johnson

Salutations! My name is Olivia, and I'm a passionate homesteader and artisan soapmaker. My journey into soapmaking began in 2022 when I decided to combine my love for homesteading with my desire to create handmade products from scratch.

From a young age, I've always been drawn to the simple joys of homesteading and the satisfaction of crafting things with my own hands. Whether it's tending to my garden or preserving produce through canning, I find immense fulfillment in the process of creating something useful and beautiful from raw ingredients.

When I discovered the art of soapmaking, it felt like a natural fit for my interests and skills. I love experimenting with different ingredients and techniques, but what truly excites me is the opportunity to transform overlooked resources into something valuable. That's why I'm particularly fond of using ingredients like tallow, often considered a waste product, to create luxurious and nourishing soaps.

Through my journey as a soapmaker, I aim to share my passion for sustainable living and handmade craftsmanship with others. Whether you're drawn to the simplicity of homesteading or the artistry of handmade goods, I invite you to join me on this journey of creativity and self-sufficiency.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you find joy and inspiration in my handmade creations.

From the Earth,

for the body

Every ingredient is considered when being added to our products. Our grass fed beef tallow is sourced locally from an Amish butcher. Cattle from all over Michigan are brought to this family run business to be processed. Many of my oils are infused with herbs I personally grow or forage for. Natural mica powders, cocoa powder, infused oils and activated charcoal are used for color. In addition to 100% essential oils for scent I do use some phthlate free fragrances.

Pure Essential Oils

100% pure essential oil

Spices

Some soap bars contain organic spices for colors or added scent.

Flowers

Decorative dried botanicals are used on top of some soap.

Clay & Charcoal

Clay is a beautiful additive in soap, adding slip and grit. Charcoal has detoxing properties as well as coloring the soap for fun designs.

Milk

Our raw goats milk comes right from our very own goats to ensure it is fresh and never pasteurized.

Beeswax

Organic bees wax is used as an emulsifier in pit sticks and salves.
